Library Month 2024

We are delighted to share that GD Goenka International School, Greater Noida West, has successfully concluded our Library Month celebration this May 2024. This month-long festivity was marked by a series of engaging reading activities, insightful book reviews, and a heartwarming NGO book donation drive.

Our students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and participation, embodying the spirit of literary exploration and community service by initiating a book donation initiative. This act of kindness speaks volumes about the values we cherish and impart to our students at GD Goenka International.

Gender Sensitivity in Schools

The session was started with the introduction of the topic and addressed on, Gender Sensitization is a basic requirement to understand the sensitive needs of a particular gender. It helps us to examine our personal attitudes and beliefs and question the realities that we thought we know. The need for this sensitivity has been felt and realized through times immemorial and in almost all kinds of human existence, across the globe. Recent discourses focus upon the need to sensitize gender issues in schools as many believe that education is the catalyst for change. The session was to enable the students to become aware of their own understanding on Gender .


Students of G.D.Goenka International School participated in an inter-school event INNO VIBE held at The Millennium School, Greater Noida west, on 3rd May 2024 aimed at centered around promoting awareness and action towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event aimed to address the global challenges faced by the world today while fostering a sense of responsibility towards building a more sustainable future.


Theme for All category theme is SDGs.

  • Quiz-O-mania: Grade 4-5 students(1st prize)
  • Models for SDG category 1: Grade 7 A and 7B (1st runner up)
  • Models for SDGs category 2: Grade 9 A (Appreciated, participation award)


  • Team Quiz o mania had a tough competition among 15 schools and qualified top 2 rounds and reached the final round. 
  • Category 1 SDG CATEGORY: Grade 7 studnets won 1st runner up Award.
  • Category 2: SDGs - Grade 9 got Appreciation Award. 

Our school's project on renewable energy solutions received recognition for its innovative approach and potential for scalability.


Participating in the INNO VIBE EVENT provided our students with invaluable opportunities to engage with global issues, collaborate with peers, and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. By fostering a sense of responsibility and empowerment, the event inspired our students to become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond.

International Dance Day

At Gd Goenka International School, Kp 5 students and staff came together to celebrate the vibrant and dynamic art of dance on International Dance Day. The school was abuzz with excitement as everyone eagerly participated in various dance-related activities, spreading joy and creativity throughout the campus.

The day kicked off with mesmerizing dance performances by talented students from different grades. From classical ballet to hip-hop, the stage was alive with a kaleidoscope of dance styles, showcasing the diversity and richness of dance culture.

The event served as a reminder of the transformative power of dance in bringing people together and enriching lives.

1st State Roller Skating Championship 2024

The Rural Games Organization of India (R.G.O.I) hosted the 1st State Roller Skating Championship 2024 with great enthusiasm at DPSG International School, Ghaziabad, on February 4th, Sunday. This thrilling event witnessed remarkable performances by young skaters from across Uttar Pradesh.

With great pride, it is our pleasure to announce that our students Thiya Kukreti (Grade 1), Aayush (Grade 3),Gurisha (Grade 3) and Lavanya Kukreti (Grade 7) have won a GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE medal respectively.

These outstanding achievements have not only brought glory to GD Goenka International School but have also paved the way for our skaters to compete at the National Level. Their dedication, hard work, and passion for roller skating have propelled them toward greater heights.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winning skaters and wish them continued success as they represent Uttar Pradesh on the national stage. Let's cheer them on as they chase their dreams and skate toward victory! 🛼🏅

19th Bruce Lee Gold Cup Taekwondo/Karate Championship 2023

19th Bruce Lee Gold Cup Taekwondo/Karate Championship 2023 held at Shalimar Garden, Ghaziabad, UP on 24th December, Sunday. We are extremely proud of Virat Sharma of Grade 3 for winning the Gold Medal in Karate and Harsh Biswas of Grade 9 for winning the silver medal in Taekwondo. The students were felicitated by our Chairman Shri. T.P Singhal along with Tushar Sir,  Amit Sir, Principal Ms Monika Srivastava and school manager, Mr. Amit Sharma. Our special thanks to our Taekwondo coach, Ms Anuraj who prepared them for the match whose hard work has been paid off. Keep up the good work and continue to make us proud!

CBSE Cluster 2023 (Taekwondo)

GD Goenka International School was honored to be associated with the CBSE Cluster Taekwondo tournament, where six students had the privilege of competing -Harsh Biswas, Vidhisha, Vrinda Mehta, Khushi Saini, Shreyash Gupta and Mahika Saxena.

A great deal of pride is felt for Harsh Biswas' achievement in winning the Silver Medal at the level above 78 pounds - (under 17).

As a token of appreciation and congratulations, Chairman T.P Singhal Sir, Principal Monika Srivastava and Tushar Gupta felicitated all the participants and presented Harsh with a cash prize and appreciation certificate.

A special recognition was given to Ms Anuraj, our taekwondo coach, for her guidance in leading the students to these great accomplishments.

CBSE Cluster 2023 (Boxing)

Congratulations to Suhani Singh of XI A on winning a bronze medal in the CBSE Cluster Boxing Championship conducted on 29th October,at Social Baluni Public School,Dehradun ! This is a great achievement and a testament to her hard work and dedication.

In a gesture of appreciation, Our Chairman Sir,Tarun Sir & Principal ma'am congratulated her.A special recognition goes to Anuraj Mam for her immense support and commitment.

Suhani Singh has made the school proud by winning a medal in the championship. Her performance was exceptional, and she has shown that she is one of the best boxers in the region. We are proud of her and wish her all the best for her future endeavors.
